InterFaith – Run for a United World 2026

We cordially invite you to our next InterFaith weekend from 15 May to 17 May 2026
The now legendary Luxembourg Night Run will start on 16 May 2026 at 7 p.m.
We look forward to rediscovering and celebrating our diversity and community with you once again.
We look back on the path we have walked together with you so far with gratitude and a sense of encouragement.
We would like to continue on this path of brotherhood and sisterhood with you again next year.
The world needs such signals more than ever. It is good to know that we are not alone, but part of a worldwide grassroots movement.

As inspiration, as a message for reflection and as words of encouragement, please find below a letter in French, English and German, written by an Iranian father named Tohid for the youth of this world. I met him here in Luxembourg at an InterFaith Café. Tohid followed a special intuition with this letter and would like to share it.
This letter is worth reading by all generations.
Enjoy reading it, and we hope to see you again next year!

Stay healthy and optimistic!
On behalf of the InterFaith team,

Ingo
P.S. Please register as soon as possible!

Honorary member Fauja Singh passed away

We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of our honorary member Fauja Singh, who died at the age of 114 in a tragic hit-and-run accident. We fondly remember the wonderful times we were able to spend with him. In 2010, he ran a half marathon in Luxembourg. Our thoughts are with his family and the “Sihks in the City” running club. May he rest in peace. We will honor his memory.

InterFaith – Run for a United World 2025

The InterFaith – Weekend 2025 took place from 30 May – 1 June 2025.

“InterFaith – Run for a United World A.s.b.l.”, organized again an interreligious and intercultural peace run with a supporting program as part of the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg.

Dr. Gendun Yonten, ambassador of the Dalai Lama and Tibetan Buddhist, was our guest and gave an introduction to the healing effects of Tibetan Buddhist meditation on Saturday morning.

About 70 participants from different national and cultural backgrounds will ran together for peace.

Runners participated in:

  • Marathon (42,195 km)
  • Half Marathon (21, 1 km)
  • Team Run (four legs between 7,2 and 13,3 km, the team was composed intercultural and international).

The participation fee included a free InterFaith functional T-shirt, medals and participation in the Pasta Welcome Evening (Friday).

We offered free accommodation for two nights with a host family.

There were again impressive encounters.
